After beginning his career with a national investment firm, Michael co-founded an independent financial advisory firm in 2002 then later founded Galene Financial. Over his 20+ years as a financial advisor, he has dedicated his career to helping others.
Michael is active in the community, currently serving as a member of the Audit/Finance Committee for the Better Business Bureau of Houston, University of Houston Alumni Association Board of Directors, Chairman of the Calf Scramble at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Chairman of Cougar Cookers.
He previously was elected to the City Council of Stafford, Texas for four terms, served as Mayor Pro-Tem, and Vice Chairman of the Stafford Economic Development Corporation. He also was a member of the Fort Bend County Investment Advisory Committee and a Director and Divisional Vice Chairman for the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce.
He is a life member of the National Eagle Scouts Association, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Houston Alumni Organization. Michael is married to his life partner Lisa and together share life’s adventures with their daughter Carlie.
